About the Role

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a fully remote position. Responsible for examining and analyzing documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance in legal or regulatory contexts. This role is critical in litigation, compliance, and operational review processes, helping the firm identify key evidence flag, sensitive or privileged information, and maintain proper documentation for court or regulatory purposes.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review and assess large volumes of documents (emails, contracts, financial records, discovery materials) for relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and compliance with legal or regulatory standards.

· Prepare and maintain document databases, tracking systems, and metadata for efficient retrieval and review. 

· Assist in preparing legal briefs, discovery requests, and depositions by organizing and summarizing relevant information.

· Identify and redact sensitive or privileged information to protect client confidentiality and meet legal requirements. 

· Compile detailed reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and any issues identified during the review. 

· Liaise with legal teams, compliance officers, and other departments to clarify requirements, retrieve missing documents, and resolve discrepancies.

· Use e-discovery software to filter, search, and categorize documents, applying search terms to locate relevant or problematic information. 

· Will perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job does not require the exercise of supervisory responsibilities.


EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent required

· Minimum 2 years experience working in a mortgage foreclosure servicer environment


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

· Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel &Outlook

· Advanced proficiency in BKFS/LPS desktop

· Must be able to uphold a professional and courteous manner at all times

· Be able to identify situations that may need escalation

· Ability to conduct and report research

· Ability to work under limited supervision and is self driven

· Documentation Skills

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Ability to utilize multiple internal computer systems

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in an extremely fast paced environment

· Capacity to handle a high volume of email & file communications each day

· Ability to retain and manage sensitive and confidential information

· Aptitude to quickly learn and navigate legal client systems

· Extreme attention to details and ability to learn and interpret legal terminology

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
