Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring an Associate Manager, OS&D based in Londonderry, NH; Buffalo, NY; or Chicago, IL.


The Lactalis USA (LUSA) Supply Chain Operational Excellence team embraces problem-solving and leadership as the keys to continuous improvement, driving overall business transformation. This Associate Manager, OS&D is part of the US shared services team focuses on Overages, Shortages, Damages, Returns (OSDR) and Penalties. Responsible for activities related to clearing, claiming and reducing customer penalties,  chargebacks, and OSDR issues across all Lactalis business units – with direct accountability for either Cheese or Yogurt processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and consistent execution of reporting, analytics, and process support activities within a shared services model. You will serve as a critical coordination point between internal teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, execution of team’s deliverables, and improvement within KPIs.  


Your work will ensure increased compliance with retailer requirements, drives root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to improve order accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.   


This position will report to the Senior Manager, OSDR & Penalties as part of the US Supply Chain Operational Excellence team.   

Requirements

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Supervise and develop a team of analysts supporting the review of OS&D (overage, shortage, damage) incidents and customer compliance charges
  • Directly support team’s review, analysis and execute activities as needed, following business unit specific workflows
  • Serve as supply chain point of contact with warehouse & transportation teams to acquire proof of delivery as needed
  • Translate business requirements and priorities into clear processes, ensure alignment on expectations,  workflows, and escalations. Drive US standardization of US OSD, Compliance and Claims processing
  • Develop & publish US metrics, dashboards for OSD, Compliance, Claims – for both internal team and business unit use
  • Lead trend identification within determined root causes of incidents, collaborating with team members across the organization and driving action plans to improve
  • Provide analysis on a regular basis to internal teams, highlighting trends and topics for focused improvement
  • Participate and/or lead recurring meetings with internal supply chain teams and external partners to drive improvements and support claims and recovery processes
  • Provide general support for and leadership within the US Supply Chain Operational Excellence team

  

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field preferred
  •  5-7 years in supply chain or other relevant roles
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and team building skills
  • Intermediate and above skill level with Excel. SAP or other ERP/relational database experience is a plus
  • Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office products and the Internet
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • High level of initiative, excellent written & oral communication skills; good presentation skills
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and task execution skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team environment
