Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) athletic programs compete at the NCAA Division II level. NNU is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) which is comprised of the following ten members: University of Alaska-Anchorage, University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Central Washington University, Montana State University-Billings, Northwest Nazarene University, Saint Martin's University, Seattle Pacific University, Simon Fraser University, Western Oregon University, and Western Washington University. NNU offers the following nine sports for women: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, track & field (indoor and outdoor), STUNT, and volleyball. NNU offers the following eight sports for men: baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, lacrosse, and track & field (indoor and outdoor).

Essential Functions

- Greets constituents, guests, and students, answer phone, oversee administrative duties, and serves as contact person for Athletics and Sport & Exercise Science.
- Leads the staffing processes for all coaches, staff, GA’s and other personnel working in the Athletic Department. Works closely with Athletic Director, Associate AD of Compliance, IT and HR. Coordinating on-boarding and off-boarding with HR and IT.
- Prepares required NCAA paperwork and reports in coordination with Associate Athletic Director of Compliance, Student Affairs and other offices across campus.
- Develops, secure signatures, and files contracts as needed. Including game contracts, rental contracts, sponsorship contracts, etc. Then process game guarantee checks from contracts.
- Serves as budget monitor by producing monthly reports for AD; meet with coaches on budgets as needed.
- Assists with department event planning and logistics, including implementation of events.
- Communicates purchase process and renewals with reserved indoor season pass holders through Vivenu ticketing system.
- Inputs room reservation requests, facilities workorders, supply orders and mail run.
- Puts together revenue and donation deposits for the Finance Office and University Advancement.
- Processes any check orders or employee reimbursements, follow-up on all outstanding PO’s.
- Collaborates with Sport & Exercise Science Chair to schedule classroom space and develop a course schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Compensation
This position is eligible for a benefits package including health insurance for employee and family, life and disability insurance and retirement program.
