POSITION SUMMARY:
Drive the implementation of concurrent organization-wide Recruiting and HR programs in alignment with business objectives. This position develops and manages Recruiting and HR Generalist project plans, builds and manages processes, and develops and maintains work standards related to the effective delivery of recruiting and human resource programs such as recruiting community outreach, recruiting processes and procedures, performance management, etc. The position supports and contributes to the assessment and diagnosis of organizational needs to align Recruiting and HR initiatives with business needs. This position partners with the Human Resources team and leaders to evaluate the current use and performance of Recruiting and HR processes, identify areas needing improvement, and develop recommendations for process improvement efforts. This is a hands-on role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain a network of active and passive candidates through ongoing relationship management.
- Screen and assess candidates to determine job and culture fit and anticipate hiring manager preferences.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet performance goals.
- Manage job postings and ensure they are current in recruiting systems.
- Manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
- Develop, measure and report on recruiting programs and processes
- Establish sourcing channels for all positions within the organization. Build and maintain a network of candidates, managing multiple searches, and ensuring a healthy pipeline of talent.
- Provide business partnership to management team including coaching and counseling for employee relations issues.
- Research, develop, implement and administer HR programs, policies, procedures and practices
- Monitor, maintain and adjust policy, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
- Lead and drive the implementation of a variety of HR projects and initiatives including merit, performance evaluation processes etc.
- Update and maintain employee and manager resource guides
- Develop, maintain and improve HR operational processes
- Successfully establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with employees and various levels of management
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for upholding Business Code of Conduct and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
- Perform other related duties as needed and assigned
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 5 or more years of experience in recruiting and in several general human resources business partner functions.
- Possesses broad knowledge covering Recruiting and multiple Human Resources functions
- Experienced in sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates through an applicant tracking system.
- This role involves building and maintaining a network of candidates, managing multiple searches, and ensuring a healthy pipeline of talent.
- Experienced at making contact and creating relationships with outside agencies, community resources, schools, etc. that can become a resource for future talent in the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and influence others to achieve results
- Consistently demonstrate understanding of business environment
- Must be comfortable aggregating data from multiple, disparate sources, conduct analysis and make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Must have experience working in partnership with senior level leaders.

- Experience in drafting HR policy, processes and procedures
- Understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite of skills
