JOB SUMMARY
Currently seeking a Field Superintendent to join our team. Duties include managing multiple jobs to ensure construction sites are ready for flooring installation and confirm completion of work once completed, perform quality checks on all installations, and manage jobsites to ensure the scope of work from installation teams are running efficiently following the scheduled timeliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Ensures proper paperwork has been submitted for tasks that require it
• Ensures field has necessary materials for jobs
• Continuously work to maintain good working partnership with builder and install crews
• Inspect concrete floors and trade readiness on jobsites
• Perform QC checks on installations to ensure quality workmanship was completed
• Perform some service items when needed
• Manage client relations and acts as liaison between client and contractors
• Manage vendor relationships
• Ensures that all safety and OSHA regulations are communicated to installers and adhered to

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School Diploma or GED required
- 5 years knowledge of flooring industry and installations preferred
- Field Management experience preferred
- Cabinet experience preferred
- Ability to work professionally and independently providing leadership and a demonstrated capability to work in a team environment
- Ability to do mathematical calculations to estimate quantities, provide field measurements when needed, and the ability to determine time, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity to a timely completion
- Ability to communicate effectively and in an appropriate manner in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work with customer representatives, installers, and other trades in a professional manner
- Must have a valid driver license and insurance that meets the company’s requirements at all times
- Independent decision maker
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-reliant; works independently, driven, high sense of urgency, takes initiative
- Persuasive; ability to influence
- Professional demeanor
- Time management skills are essential
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-through to make sure our tasks are completed correctly, on time
- The use of an IPAD is required
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred

- Required to walk around on jobsites, step up or down, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to inspect, repair or install product.
- Required to ascend and descend multiple stairwells frequently.
- Lifting up to 50-100 pounds.
- Driving long distances in interstate highways.
