Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Treasury Management Producing Team Lead at our Dallas, TX location.
Description:
The TM Producing Team Lead is responsible for managing their own respective portfolio while developing and leading a team of Treasury Management Officers (TSOs) with the directive to grow TM fee income and low-cost funding. The Team Lead will work collaboratively with the Lines of Business to create strong partnerships, drive results, and optimize talent.
Specifically, this role will have leadership oversight of several regions leading the Treasury client and prospect development efforts for Commercial, Business Banking, Specialty Areas (ABL, Real Estate, Energy, Private Wealth, etc.) and new verticals as they are built while collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager and TM Director.
Key areas of collaboration with Line of Business leadership also includes focus on developing market and/or business plans and explore potential areas of opportunity that could lead to enhanced deposit and fee growth.
While leading others, the TM Producing Team Lead is responsible for independently building and growing their business or market by developing and driving a TM (Treasury Management) strategy, establishing high LOB (Line of Business) engagement, accelerating business development and managing portfolio growth objectives for their own portfolio. The Team Lead continues to serve as an external calling officer for the bank making joint or independent proactive sales/calling efforts the majority of the business day. The Team Lead will spend a minimum 50% of their available business hours with clients and/or prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong revenue growth plans, supported by inspection routines and strategies for portfolio growth and revenue retention with direct report leaders, product partners and business partners
- Performance and Talent Management including high focus on internal and external talent pool building and bench strength
- Client experience and teammate experience at the center of most if not all key strategies and tactics
- Effectively communicate and engage key leaders within the Bank, specifically to guide and lead LOB partners to drive greater performance and client experience
- Develop a strong pipeline and sales management process to ensure activities and production are meeting established financial goals
- Develop a strong leadership engagement cadence with Line of Business leadership to ensure engagement is high and delivering expected results
- Ensure all teammates understand and embrace Sunflower Bank core values, compliance and illustrate strong business ethics

Owns Financial and Production Results
- The Team Lead is accountable for growing TM revenue and deposits at the levels required to meet financial objectives for their portfolio as well as the team they lead. Today, current and targeted revenue growth should average a minimum 18-22% of the assigned portfolio. New Sales will generally trend a solid six figures of production per TMO per annum (when factoring both recurring and non-recurring revenue).
- The Team Lead understands where the financial performance is at all times and is fluent in the behaviors of the portfolio they manage. They have accurately identified the revenue levers and are active in exploring new revenue paths.
- Proves “body of work” through on time and accurate nCino/SalesForce/CRM input. Activity measurement is a leading indicator of future success and the Team Lead is responsible to ensure activities are captured and are meeting or exceeding levels that meet financial objectives.
- The TMO is proactive in addressing gaps in financial performance and has independently taken the appropriate steps to course correct before the gaps become too significant to overcome.
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Finance, Economic, Accounting or equivalent experience) required. Master’s degree in Accounting and or CTP certification a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of proven, successful leadership overseeing and leading teams within Treasury Management, electronic payments, and/or Purchasing Card industries required
- 10 or more years of total Banking and or Treasury Management experience required
- Proven experience as a change agent leader improving the results and quality of teams managed required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and drive new business in Corporate or Specialty Businesses (i.e., Commercial Real Estate and Energy) required
- Strategic market development skills, and excellent strategic sales skills
- Strong leadership acumen with the ability to effectively lead a diverse sales team to new performance levels required
- Proven ability to recruit top talent with a constant focus on developing deep bench
- Previous experience functioning effectively under pressure and highly effective at leading teams through significant and sometimes, sustained change required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
- Must be a highly motivated leader and be able to motivate her/his peers and influence partners in other areas to achieve goals
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
