Job Summary: Responsible for overall recruitment activities to include sourcing, attracting, hiring candidates at the site while collaborating closely with the Corporate Senior Human Resources Business Partner/Talent Acquisition to align recruitment strategies to corporate goals. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle from job requisition, to onboarding, and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer a proactive and strategic recruitment and talent acquisition process focused on sourcing and building talent pipelines using a diverse sourcing strategy, as well as coordinating various programs for leadership development. Establish strong working relationships with hiring managers to gain in depth understanding of their requirements.
- Forecast workforce needs, analyze market trends, review target area conditions, and assess available supply of candidates; balancing all to ensure business needs are met while avoiding employee shortages or surpluses.
- Implement and manage candidate experience and expectations through processes that promote a positive and professional experience for all candidates.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain long term partnerships with high schools, colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract talent.
- Organize employee engagement activities, assist with college internship programs to include campus recruiting, onboarding, coordination of events, provide sound advice and counsel to management regarding employee relations matters, ensure employees/managers receive appropriate counseling, guidance, and support on employee relations issues.
- Present organization information in public forums including schools, universities, organizations, and career fairs and/or other appropriate community events.
- Creatively source candidates through different venues such as hiring events, career fairs, digital marketing, social media, and community outreach to form a strong talent pipeline.
- Proactively develop candidate pool through strategic networking, referrals, events/conferences, and knowledge about internal talent.
- Responsible for vendor management to include identifying, partnering and contract negotiation with external providers; ensuring hiring needs are met.
- Collaborate with hiring leaders to develop job profiles and identify needs to attract high-quality applicants. Advise management on interviewing, hiring and candidate evaluation.
- Develop metrics and data analytics to drive positive experiences for talent acquisition and key stakeholders.
- Define and lead recruitment projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Partner with other HR team members.
- All other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and a minimum of six years relevant experience.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Expert ability to navigate social media platforms.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including listening, written and public presentation skills.
- Collaborative approach to building relationships
- Applicable knowledge of employment legislation.
- Ability to flex hours to cover all shifts as needed.
- Previous HRIS experience
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with ADP recruiting platform
- Medical Device Manufacturing recruiting experience
- Influencing skills
- Coaching skills
ADA Requirements:
- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for operation of a computer.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally.
- Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing physical hazards.
- Travel by air or car occasionally
