Summary: The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full-cycle recruiting in support of National Airlines’ aviation operations, including flight operations, technical operations, corporate, and support functions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify qualified aviation talent, manage compliant recruiting processes, and deliver strong candidate experience for positions that support National Airlines’ passenger charter and global cargo operations.
Essential Functions:
- Manages full-cycle recruitment for aviation and corporate roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer support, onboarding partnership, and candidate dispositioning.
- Partners with Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Cargo Operations, and corporate leaders to understand role requirements, operational schedules, required certifications, and position-specific competencies.
- Sources qualified aviation talent through job boards, professional networks, aviation communities, referrals, recruiting events, and proactive pipeline-building strategies.
- Screens candidates for aviation experience, regulatory eligibility, required credentials, work authorization, schedule availability, and alignment with safety-sensitive work environments.
- Maintains accurate recruiting records, interview documentation, candidate communications, and compliance-related files in accordance with company policy and applicable employment requirements.
- Supports Affirmative Action and outreach efforts by helping attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants, including women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
- Ensures recruiting and hiring practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, background screening requirements, and audit-ready recordkeeping expectations.
- Provides timely recruiting updates, pipeline status, market feedback, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders and HR leadership.
- Represents National Airlines at industry-related job fairs as well as hosts hiring events.
- Supports HRIS/ATS data entry, onboarding coordination, new hire documentation, and recruiting process improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent recruiting or aviation industry experience may be considered.
- Strong full-cycle recruiting skills, including sourcing, screening, behavioral interviewing, candidate assessment, offer support, and hiring manager consultation.
- Minimum of two years of full-cycle recruiting experience required, within airline or other regulated operational environments.
- Experience supporting regulated hiring processes, including background checks, employment verification, credential review, I-9 compliance, and candidate documentation required.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for aviation or operational roles such as pilots, maintenance technicians, flight operations, technical operations, cargo operations, dispatch, ground operations, or related support functions strongly preferred.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with operational leaders, technical subject matter experts, candidates, and HR partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent the company professionally to aviation candidates.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, competing priorities, time-sensitive hiring needs, and detailed compliance documentation.
- Prior experience with public speaking or presenting skills is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, including EEO, Affirmative Action, FCRA, I-9, and other recruiting compliance requirements.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, confidentiality, professionalism, and urgency in a fast-paced aviation environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, internet sourcing tools, and recruiting databases.
- Experience using recruiting metrics, pipeline reporting, and market feedback to support hiring decisions is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory concepts and operational hiring considerations, including 14 CFR Part 121, DOT/FAA-related environments, and safety-sensitive positions, preferred.
- Experience with Affirmative Action requirements for U.S. government contractors, EEO obligations, discrimination laws, Fair Credit Reporting Act requirements, and audit-ready recruiting records preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity or comparable ATS platforms is a plus.
- Professional HR certifications, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, are preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with organization of hiring events, job fairs, and industry-related events.
Computer Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and experience with the internet include search agent applications.
Travel:
- Overnight travel 10 – 20% to attend industry events or conduct hiring events
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/printer.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phones, printers, and overhead lights).
- Ability to work in a confined office or open cubicle environment
