About the Role

Join RAC Roadside and play a key role in supporting the country contractor network that delivers exceptional roadside assistance to more than one million RAC members across Western Australia.

Working within our Country Relationship team, you'll build strong relationships with our regional contractor partners, monitor operational performance, and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with RAC's high standards.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Country Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with a portfolio of country contractor partners and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations, service levels and KPIs

  • Ensure contractor compliance with operational, contractual and safety requirements

  • Manage operational issues and resolve contractor disputes in a timely and professional manner

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the contractor network

  • Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks

  • Conduct contractor site visits across Western Australia as required

  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records to support business outcomes

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a proactive, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and embraces a culture of continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working within a contractor management, relationship management or operational delivery environment

  • A strong understanding of contractor operating models and service delivery principles

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • The ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems

  • Ability to travel across Western Australia as required (approximately once per month). Reasonable notice will be provided, with flexibility and input into travel scheduling wherever possible.

  • Diploma in Business (or equivalent) will be highly regarded but is not essential.

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) will be highly regarded but is not essential.

  • A current WA Driver's Licence (required)
