About the Role

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As an Operative Procurement – Work student (all genders), you will be part of the Finance Operations P2P Operative Procurement team responsible for supporting the operational activities of indirect (non-merchandising) goods and services procurement in close collaboration with respective Business Units. In this very exciting role, you will be working closely with various stakeholders across different business areas.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You will procure goods and services for orders ≦150k€ in close alignment with the respective requestor(s) and provide regular status on your projects and deliver impactful results.

  • You will be primarily supporting internal users and collaborate with Ops Buyers on procurement requests spanning IT (hardware/software), Professional Services, Corporate & Consulting Services, Employee Services, and Event Management 

  • You will be responsible to supporting Business Units managing their IT requests in JIRA, bridging the gap between requestors and key reviewers like InfoSec, Legal, and application experts to keep projects moving forward. 

  • You will be supporting users on the Request to Order process in Coupa and operational within the framework of the policy for indirect goods and services.

  • You will be supporting users on P2P products, e.g. eCatalogs, vCards, Marketplaces, Blanket POs, One Time Vendor and drive implementation of efficiency measures. 

  • You will assist and contribute in relevant cross-team initiatives and/or support requesters on P2P when required

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You come with a background in business, management, finance, IT and/or engineering 

  • Studies.

  • You have an interest in Procurement, Buying and Supply Chain topics and bring first 

  • experience in negotiations.

  • You have experience working with Google Sheets, Doc and Slides as well as MS Office, especially Excel.

  • You are attentive to detail, self-driven and have the skill to work independently with a hands-on and responsible attitude.

  • You are flexible, reliable and always happy to support in various tasks.

  • You have excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, embracing collaboration and acting proactively.

  • You are always willing to find practical solutions, organising your workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are ready on time, accurate and prioritised accordingly.

  • You are highly motivated and interested in processes, tools and numbers.
