Sustainability is essential to delivering materials to the building industry. We're already well underway with our green transition in production and through the solutions we offer with our acoustic products, and we want to strengthen this area further. We're therefore seeking a Sustainability Manager Nordic to spearhead our current and future sustainability initiatives.

The Rockfon Business Unit North team is based in four principal locations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Our Nordic team is driven by commercial excellence, and sustainability strategy is essential to our success. This creates a unique opportunity to combine forces across Nordic markets, make a real difference, and drive the green agenda forward.
Your Main Objectives - What You Will Be Doing
As our Sustainability Manager Nordic, you will:
- Create and promote content showcasing Rockfon's sustainability initiatives and drive sustainability awareness and engagement across the Nordic region
- Participate actively in sustainability debates across Nordic countries
- Drive recycling and reuse initiatives across the Nordic region—scale these initiatives by inspecting projects, identifying and establishing contacts with relevant partners
- Work with sales teams, customers, and cross-functional Rockfon and ROCKWOOL Group colleagues to advise on sustainability topics and drive alignment on the sustainability agenda
- Educate and train the commercial team and key customers on relevant certification schemes
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with Nordic regulations; develop relevant product documentation and support for larger projects
- Track competitor sustainability initiatives and market trends in the Nordic region to identify opportunities and risks
- Create and maintain a regional sustainability strategy aligned with Rockfon and ROCKWOOL Group's global sustainability goals
What You Bring
You are joining a newly created position reporting to the Nordic Technical Manager. You ideally have a background as an architect, engineer, or building constructor and preferably hold certifications as an authorized auditor across multiple sustainability certification schemes.
Essential qualifications and experience:
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to creating real impact
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, potentially as an auditor with a consulting engineering company or from another building materials manufacturer
Excellent communication skills and genuine passion for advancing sustainability in the industry
Strong project leadership capabilities with the drive to ensure results and momentum
Proactive approach to staying current with developments in your field and effectively implementing them
Hands-on experience with various sustainability certifications relevant to the Nordic building sector (DGNB, BREEAM-NOR, Miljöbyggnad, LEED, etc.)
Fluent in English and at least one other Nordic language
Expected travel: Approximately 30 days per year across the Nordic region
