Salary: UOM 6 $100,847 - $109,163 p.a. plus 17% super

Your next career opportunity  
In this Media Producer role, you will create compelling media for Melbourne Online’s students. You will collaborate with learning designers and academics shaping engaging multimedia experiences that support exceptional online education.  

What you will deliver:  

  • Produce educational video content that clearly explains complex ideas and engages diverse learners. 

  • Coordinate end-to-end production, including planning, studio, location or remote filming, and coordinating crews and logistics. 

  • Edit and finalise media including sound enhancement and basic colour grading, integrating graphics and audio to deliver polished, brand-aligned learning assets. 

  • Coordinate schedules, studios, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of production resources. 

  • Monitor feedback and analytics to refine content quality and continuously improve student engagement outcomes. 

  

You may be a great fit if you:  

  • Hold a relevant degree in film, video, multimedia, digital media or closely related discipline. 

  • Demonstrate end-to-end video production experience, including planning, scripting, filming and editing for digital environments. 

  • Use industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Media Encoder with an understanding of media output formats and data wrangling. Translate complex concepts into clear visual narratives that resonate with diverse student and academic audiences. 

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing schedules, resources and budgets while meeting production deadlines. 

  • Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, responding constructively to feedback and stakeholder direction.
