DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Senior Manager, HR Investigations, located in Taguig, Philippines.

The Senior Manager, HR Investigations is responsible for the execution of employee relations investigations across APAC and EMEA. This role focuses on the consistent, timely, and high-quality delivery of investigations into workplace concerns, ensuring all matters are managed objectively, documented thoroughly, and resolved in line with company policy and local employment laws. This role is intended for sensitive HR matters with heightened legal, regulatory, and/or reputational exposure, such as discrimination, harassment and retaliation case management.

This position plays a critical role in operationalizing investigation processes at scale—handling a high volume of complex and sensitive cases, ensuring accurate case management, and delivering outcomes that are fair, compliant, and actionable. You will work closely with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to execute investigations, manage risk, and support a safe and respectful workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end employee relations investigations, including intake, planning, interviews, documentation, findings, and recommendations

  • Manage a high volume of cases with varying complexity, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service-level expectations
    • Apply standardized investigation frameworks, tools, and documentation practices to ensure consistency and quality
    • Conduct thorough fact-finding, including interviews and evidence review, to establish clear and defensible outcomes
    • Maintain accurate and complete case records in investigation systems, ensuring audit readiness and compliance
    • Partner with HR and Legal stakeholders to validate findings, align on recommendations, and ensure appropriate case closure actions
    • Identify patterns and trends across cases and escalate insights that may indicate systemic risks or recurring issues
    • Ensure proper triage and prioritization of incoming cases based on risk level and complexity
    • Support continuous improvement of investigation processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and quality
    • Provide guidance to HR partners on investigation processes, documentation standards, and case handling expectations

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Master’s degree, JD, or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically 8–10 years of experience in employee relations, investigations, or a related HR discipline

  • Demonstrated experience executing investigations end-to-end, including managing multiple concurrent cases

  • Strong knowledge of investigation techniques, documentation standards, and employment practices across APAC and/or EMEA

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within defined timelines

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly and accurately

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment

Preferred:

  • Experience operating in a high-volume, service-oriented or centralized investigations environment

  • Experience in regulated industries such as MedTech, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing

  • Familiarity with case management systems and investigation tools

  • Experience identifying trends and contributing to process improvements

  • Exposure to labor relations or unionized environments

  • Experience supporting multi-country investigations across diverse legal frameworks

Other:

• Language: English required; additional regional languages are a plus
• Travel: Approximately 10–15%, limited and primarily for critical business needs
• Certifications: HR, investigations, or compliance-related certifications preferred
