DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Analytics and Automation Specialist, located in Manila, Philippines.
The Analytics and Automation Specialist plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making and improving operational efficiency across Global Services. This role combines advanced analytics with process automation to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and scalable solutions. You will contribute directly to improving visibility, accuracy, and performance by building dashboards, streamlining workflows, and delivering high-quality insights that support business priorities in a global, fast-paced environment.
The specialist will build dashboards, reports, automations, and integrations that improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency—empowering stakeholders with high‑quality insights and optimized data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze complex Commercial Sourceview datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities that inform business decisions
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear and timely visibility to stakeholders
Apply data visualization techniques using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to simplify complex information
Evaluate performance metrics to monitor operational efficiency and recommend improvements
Design, build, and maintain automation workflows to streamline data processing and reporting activities
Identify automation opportunities by analyzing business requirements and current processes
Design, build, and maintain SOURCEVIEW automation workflows to improve data processing and reporting efficiency.
Test, validate, and monitor automated solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement
Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes, implementing improvements as needed.
Document automation and BI processes, including standards, best practices, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, analytics, and business stakeholders) to deliver integrated solutions.
Support data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure consistency and reliability of data
Provide training and enablement to help teams effectively use analytics and automation tools
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required
Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, automation, or a related role
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience with SQL and data querying, along with understanding of data pipelines
Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Experience designing or supporting automation workflows or tools
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a global team environment
Preferred:
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism
Familiarity with data engineering concepts including ETL processes and data warehousing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Databricks)
Programming experience in Python or R
Knowledge of data governance, data modeling, and data quality practices
Exposure to statistical analysis or machine learning concepts
Experience working within a global or matrixed organization
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Other
Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Travel: Minimal (≤10%, primarily for internal collaboration)
Certifications: Certifications in data analytics, BI tools, or RPA are preferred
