Position Purpose: Under the direction of departmental leadership and the Diagnostic Imaging Center Supervisor, the Diagnostic Imaging Center Assistant Supervisor supports the coordination of daily operations, including staff scheduling, patient flow, work assignments, and operational workflows. This role assists in monitoring staff performance to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while providing day-to-day leadership and operational support.

The Assistant Supervisor helps oversee the daily operations of a full-service Diagnostic Imaging Center, supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care across multiple imaging modalities. Working in partnership with the Supervisor, this position assists with the supervision of clinical and support staff and helps maintain efficient workflows across service lines, including diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, MRI, and other specialized imaging procedures.

The Assistant Supervisor also supports staff training and development, assists in addressing patient concerns, contributes to process improvement initiatives, and serves as a resource for staff to promote operational efficiency, exceptional patient experiences, and quality clinical outcomes.

Acting as a liaison between frontline staff, the Supervisor, and departmental leadership, the Assistant Supervisor helps ensure that day-to-day operations align with departmental objectives and organizational goals.
