  • Develop and deliver effective financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance analysis for assigned projects and portfolios
  • Manage change control processes with a keen focus on commercial implications; identify, assess, and capitalize on commercial risks and opportunities
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with internal company standards and external regulatory requirements
  • Apply contractual mechanisms, prepare change quotations, and lead negotiations to successful agreement with clients and stakeholders
  • Participate in regular progress meetings, change control forums, and client engagements to maintain transparency and alignment
  • Contribute to risk registers and support the assessment of risk allowances in financial reporting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with discipline leads and project teams to identify, document, and assess scope changes and their commercial impact
  • Manage earned value management processes, cost reconciliation, and estimate-at-completion (EAC) reporting
  • Oversee supply chain contracts, vendor management, payment applications, and invoice processing
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that enhance profitability while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with excellent business analysis, financial interpretation, and budget forecasting skills
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract law, with experience in various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or similar)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across departments, build relationships, and influence at all organizational levels
  • Strong vendor and supplier management capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with resilience, flexibility, and adaptability in dynamic environments
