Hadco Metal, a globally recognized and consistently growing distributor of Metal products serving the aerospace, oil & gas, and architectural markets (to name a few) is seeking Part-Time Saw Operators for our busy evening operations.

This permanent, part-time position offers incredibly flexible and favorable work schedule, with both weekday and weekend work available.

The only requirements being that you must be able to work a minimum of (3) three shifts per week (including weekends), between the hours of 6:00PM-12:00AM. 

*If available to train on the 1st shift, that is preferred but not required.

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical plastics. Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears.

Job Summary:

As a part-time Saw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating automated industrial CNC saws to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet customer specifications.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.
• Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to work a minimum of 3 evening shifts per week, 4-6 hours each starting at 6:00PM. (some flexibility with hours)
• Possess strong math and measuring skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with basic computer ERP systems.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
