•    Perform data validation checks and reconcile payroll inputs against cutoff deadlines prior to submission
•    Coordinate with member firm payroll teams and external providers to ensure timely, accurate processing for local and cross-border entities
•    Track and monitor payroll changes across differing member firm requirements
________________________________________

2. Inquiry Handling and Escalation (Tier 1 and Tier 2)
•    Resolve routine (Tier 1) payroll and process inquiries within defined playbooks and service levels
•    Work more complex (Tier 2) inquiries on an asynchronous basis, applying judgment to research and resolve, or to escalate with clear context
•    Escalate items beyond scope, or that indicate a process or automation issue, to the in-country or CoE team promptly
•    Arrange clarifying calls with stakeholders during the EMEA coverage window where written exchange is insufficient
________________________________________

3. Controls, Reconciliation, and Data Integrity
•    Support payroll reconciliations, including benefits, deductions, and statutory payments within the relevant EMEA jurisdictions
•    Adhere to payroll cutoff calendars and control checkpoints; maintain accurate, auditable records
•    Uphold segregation between input preparation and approval, and maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee and payroll data
________________________________________

4. Documentation, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
•    Contribute to and maintain process documentation and run books (process and transformation design owned by the CoE team)
•    Generate regular payroll and status reports
•    Surface recurring issues, data quality gaps, and improvement opportunities to the CoE & in-country teams
________________________________________

Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
•    2 to 4 years of experience in payroll, shared-services, or multi-country payroll operations
•    Demonstrated ability to handle payroll exceptions and inquiries independently, with sound escalation judgment
•    Exposure to multi-country payroll or a shared-services environment (required, given the EMEA multi-jurisdiction scope)
•    Experience with HR and payroll systems and aggregation tooling; working understanding of upstream (source-to-gross) payroll processes across HR, Finance, and IT inputs
•    Willingness to work in a global support environment (EMEA-focused)
________________________________________

Skills & Competencies
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data; ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies
•    Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, validation, reconciliation)
•    Comfort operating in a structured, controls-driven, process environment against deadlines
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize across jurisdictions
•    Clear written communication and effective stakeholder coordination across member firms
•    High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality when handling employee data
________________________________________
