Job Description

Employment Lifecycle management lead 

Employment Lifecycle Management lead (Global Process Owner) is end-to-end accountable for the global employment lifecycle process, ensuring it is designed, implemented, and continuously improved to deliver efficiency, compliance, and positive employee experience. Employment lifecycle includes integrated processes (“Hire-to-retire”), such as Hire (excl. Recruitment), Onboarding and Exit. Employee lifecycle lead also owns employee document management and drives self-service adoption in the process domain. Process owner role acts as the guardian of process integrity, aligning global standards with local requirements and drives process, data and technology improvement in the domain together with relevant stakeholders.   

Responsibilities and focus

  • Drive and develop Employment lifecycle process domain (Hire-to-Retire/H2R) to improve end-to-end process performance and enhanced experience to various process stakeholders 

  • Lead global employee document management concept development and adaption 

  • Ensure employee self-service (ESS) approach is embedded to Employment lifecycle processes by applying  ESS tools, knowledge bases and AI to enable more automated and smoother process execution and resolution 

  • Define, document and maintain global H2R processes, ensuring clarity, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives – including adoption of the P&C operating model within the process domain 

  • Responsible for driving process & technology implementations and enhancement initiatives in the process domain as the Global Process owner 

  • Design processes that are intuitive, delivering a positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle touchpoints (employee/manager) and enabling self-service approach & workflows in respective process area 

  • Ensure alignment and smooth processes execution across different teams and countries (E2E) within employment lifecycle and it’s sub-processes 

  • Monitor process performance, identify gaps, and implement enhancements using data-driven approach and stakeholder feedback 

  • Actively engage regional/local People & Culture stakeholders, IT, other connected process owners, People Operations Service Center and business representatives to drive continuous process improvement and to ensure business needs are met in the employment lifecycle processes  

  • Define and track KPIs to measure process efficiency, compliance, and impact on employee experience 

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 

  • 7+ years of experience across People & Culture, HR operations, and/or HR technology environments  

  • Relevant experience in end-to-end process ownership, development, or optimization (e.g. Hire-to-Retire, HR shared services, HRIS-driven processes or operational HR) 

  • Strong business and customer-orientated approach in ways of working and ability to influence stakeholders and drive result orientated decision making  

  • Experience in global or multi-country environments, balancing global standards with local requirements 

  • Exposure to global HR systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors/Employee Central or equivalent) and process digitalization/automation initiatives  

  • Proven ability to engage, influence and align with senior stakeholders across People & Culture, IT, and business functions 

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, CI frameworks) and change management 

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage different audiences 

  • Business-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus (employees, managers, HR stakeholders) 

  • Able to work fluently in written and spoken English.

Location: Preferably in Tallinn, Estonia, and optionally Hyvinkää/Espoo Finland. It goes without saying, that the hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.
