National Sales Manager, Prescription

We're looking for a National Sales Manager to lead our Therapeutic Dermatology team, based in Sydney.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of six dermatology Portfolio Specialists while helping to shape the national strategy for our Prescription portfolio. You'll build meaningful partnerships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, drive commercial success and expand patient access to trusted dermatology therapies.
As part of our Prescription business, our customer focus is mixed but predominantly in Primary Care, making experience across both Primary Care and Specialty Care environments highly desirable. The ability to navigate diverse customer groups, influence across channels and translate insights into action will be key to success.
Importantly, this is more than a traditional sales leadership role. As a senior leader, you'll work cross functionally and across business units, bringing together commercial, medical, marketing and customer facing teams. You'll have the opportunity to influence broader business decisions, identify synergies across portfolios and create new approaches that deliver value for customers, patients and our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute national sales strategy in line with brand and business objectives, adapting to market and customer needs
Lead, coach and develop a team of 6 Portfolio Specialists through regular field visits, formal development plans and ongoing capability building
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, hospital networks and pharmacies to drive endorsement of Galderma's Prescription products
Own coverage and frequency targets, keeping the team accountable through CRM data, sales analytics and monthly performance reviews
Partner cross functionally with Marketing and Commercial Excellence to execute campaigns, educational programs and product launches
Manage the national sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and promotional spend
Provide input into annual strategic and budget planning for the business unit
Ideally you will have
8+ years' experience with HCPs, across Primary Care and/or Specialty Care settings
A proven track record in national sales leadership within pharmaceuticals
Strong coaching and people leadership skills, with experience building high performing teams
The ability to think strategically while staying hands on with day to day execution
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
A bachelor's degree in business or related field (advanced science education a plus, not required)
Willingness to travel a minimum of 8 days per month, including occasional weekend industry events
