Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit Outreach Support Volunteers to play a pivotal role within the local Liverpool community promoting our services and engaging with our service users/individuals/rough sleepers and partner agencies.
Volunteering with Change Grow Live is a great way to make a real difference in people’s lives whilst gaining valuable experience.
At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to support change and the direction of their life, to grow as an individual, and to live life to its full potential.
At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are a warm and welcoming environment. Your role as an Outreach Support Volunteer will be to:
- Support the Outreach team to engage and support individuals who are experiencing homelessness and have multiple needs/substance misuse. You will be responding to referrals, targeting known locations within the community actively engaging and building a positive relationship with people who are rough sleeping/ experiencing problems with substance misuse.
- As part of a team, you will be working with partner agencies, signposting individuals, empowering and assisting them to access relevant services. Advocating for them and supporting them to achieve their goals and make positive changes as well as managing expectations of all involved.
Outreach can be fast paced and challenging role so you will need to be responsive and adaptable with the ability to work quickly and effectively. No two days are the same and you can really make a difference in helping to keep people safe.
This is the perfect role for a sociable and outgoing person who wants to help their community
We are committed to creating an environment that respects and values diversity, with a positive and supportive culture where everyone feels welcome, empowered, and represented.
