We're seeking an experienced and passionate Safeguarding Trainer to play a critical role in strengthening safeguarding practices across our Western Australian services during an exciting period of growth and transition. This is a field-based, fixed-term opportunity where you'll travel across Busy Bees centres throughout WA, working directly alongside educators and leaders to embed best practice, build capability, and ensure every child is safe, supported and protected.

What you'll do

  • Embed safeguarding practices across services through practical, on-the-floor coaching and support.

  • Visit Busy Bees centres across Western Australia to observe practice, identify risks, and provide real-time feedback to educators and leaders.

  • Deliver engaging face-to-face safeguarding training and capability-building sessions that strengthen confidence and compliance.

  • Support services through transition by ensuring safeguarding frameworks, systems and standards are consistently applied.

  • Partner with service leaders and operational teams to drive continuous improvement while maintaining an independent child safety focus.

What you'll bring

  • A genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing, with alignment to our Busy Bees values.

  • Significant experience in early childhood education, safeguarding, quality, compliance or training roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and influence practice through hands-on, in-the-moment support.

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding expectations within regulated care environments.

  • Experience identifying risks and providing practical, solution-focused recommendations that improve quality outcomes.

  • The flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Western Australia, working directly within Busy Bees services.
