[What the role is]
[LTA-ITCD] MANAGER / DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, IT SYSTEMS (WORKPLACE)[What you will be working on]
You shall lead and manage initiatives to strategize, plan and deliver Digital Workplace services for the Land Transport Authority (LTA); including End User computing devices, messaging services, Generative AI, digital solutions and tools. You will manage outsourced partners and service providers to ensure smooth running and provisioning of Service Desk, End User devices and messaging services. In addition, you will be leading the digitalisation effort in the areas such as asset management, equipment tracking/issuing, contract management, bill verification, workplace productivity & collaboration, and IT helpdesk management. You will also be assisting in the design and implementation of the End User infrastructure to ensure reliability, availability, serviceability and security. You will be involved in enforcing End User device & messaging policies and procedures to meet both Government as well as LTA's requirements. Beyond these, you will source for new developments in End User devices and messaging-related technologies that enhance LTA's effectiveness in delivering its business objectives. You will interact closely with other IT Teams, Business Units, and external agencies (GovTech, MOF and MOT) to understand and meet their requirements. You will be responsible for managing, guiding and continuously upgrading of staff's knowledge so that a competent team is always ready to take on new challenges to meet LTA's business needs.
[What we are looking for]
• Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Fresh graduates may apply.
• Relevant knowledge or experience in End User (mobile devices, desktops, laptops) and messaging support & operations. Experience in team management, GenAI (e.g. Microsoft Co-pilot), PowerBI, and desktop automation tools (e.g. RPA, Python) is desirable.
• Knowledgeable in desktop, WAN, LAN and wireless technologies. Experience in Singapore Public Sector ICT environment is desirable.
• Strong project management and change management experience that ensures ICT projects are delivered on time, budget and schedule is desirable.
• IT financial budget management, IT procurement and IT contractor management experience is desirable.
