We currently have a great opportunity for a Full-time Aerodrome Operator to join our team at Karratha Airport. This role would suit someone that wants to stay active and has an interest in the aviation industry.

Looking for a career change? No previous experience is required for this role as 12 weeks of comprehensive on the job training will be provided. We would love to hear from individuals with any type of operational or technical background. Responsibilities

As an Aerodrome Operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient refuelling of aircrafts. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values safety, precision, and teamwork. 

Key responsibilities for the role includes: 

• Mainly focused on tarmac operations to assist customers and conduct Into Plane Fuelling
• Driving fuel dispensers (including Heavy Rigid vehicles).
• Engaging in tasks at elevated heights
• Handling manual tasks and entering data
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Ensuring fuel quality control through testing
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills with a positive outlook
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Attention to detail
• Strong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices

• Current Heavy Rigid license desirable
• Dangerous Goods license desirable
• Reliable transport and current drivers licence (min. two years full licence).
• Desire to work and contribute to a high performing team
• Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend work
