About the Role

NABRICO Marine Products is searching for an Administrative Office Support Representative at our Bossier City, LA manufacturing plant.

NABRICO Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. NABRICO Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, NABRICO Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the daily planning operations  
  • Review and analyze exception reports, create new shop orders/work orders 
  • Maintain shop orders/work orders
  • Assist with material and labor investigations/audits in the office and on the production floor
  • Assist with physical inventory, assist with training sessions, and help develop and maintain any planning procedures, spread-sheets, queries, and other applicable documents
  • Enter parts and standard product orders
  • Track and maintain MRO purchasing
  • Estimate delivery schedules based on stock and production
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Check freight bills; maintain information on carriers and processing documents
  • Support other areas with administrative tasks, in areas such as Safety, Accounting, and Production


What You'll Need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient skills in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written 
  • Ability to understand, explain, and demonstrate features of industrial products and services
