Foundry Treatment Center Steamboat is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation center located in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We also provide an intensive outpatient and detox program designed to meet your unique needs. We have developed a proven clinical program that draws from the guiding principles of the 12-step philosophy, yet offers a modern approach that incorporates mindfulness, meditation, BioSound, Alpha Stem, nutrition, and yoga. Our drug and alcohol treatment programs are attuned to the whole person to address body, mind, and spirit. At the Foundry, we build on the foundation of the 12-steps recovery model with a modern approach supported by the latest research in addiction treatment. In consultation with our expert therapists and medical staff, we develop an individualized plan of service for those in treatment. Two of the clinical methods we employ include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing which helps you develop the motivation and skills necessary to maintain recovery. Our comprehensive Wellness Recovery Program promotes an active lifestyle by incorporating nutritional counseling and fitness classes. We offer a wide variety of seasonal activities, such as cross-country skiing, wilderness hiking, snowshoeing, fishing, cycling, and other outdoor pursuits. Program Coordinator - Denver


Reports to: Clinical Director Outpatient Programs

Job Category: Hourly | Non-Exempt | Full-Time

Salary Range: $22-$26.50/hour

Job Site: Foundry - Denver office

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 11am-7:30pm, Fri 8:30am-4:30pm


Job Summary:

The Program Coordinator partners with a multidisciplinary team to help manage and support various systems and processes that are instrumental in providing a safe and therapeutic environment. This role supports Leadership by fulfilling various administrative duties and functions and helping implement programmatic changes.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years proven experience in a program coordinator or administrative assistant position.
  • Experience and knowledge of the behavioral healthcare industry preferred.
  • CAT certification preferred. 
  • Knowledge of insurance and billing preferred.
  • Experience with accounting/financial systems.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the orientation process of incoming clients.
  • Answer phones and relay messages to the appropriate department.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide consistent and efficient direct operational support to the Clinical Director and team.
  • Assist with procurement, budgeting, and financial duties.
  • Support in the collection and handling of lab specimens following established standards and procedures.
  • Complete DACODS.
  • Assist with IOP assessments (e.g., Biopsychosocial, Intakes).
  • Help implement program changes.
  • Collect and analyze program evaluation and client feedback; compile program evaluation results and metrics.
  • Coordinate on- and off-site events (e.g., tours, lectures, etc.). 
  • Event and meeting management duties as assigned.
  • Monitor quality assurance in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, making suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, HIPAA, and 42CFR Part 2 compliance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, typing, speaking, hearing, seeing.
  • Exposure to a clinical and medical environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Driving in all weather conditions.
