Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Culinary Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow

- Support menu planning, development, and execution in collaboration with the culinary team

- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations

- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability

- Ensure consistency in food presentation and taste across all dishes

- Assist in implementing new culinary initiatives and promotional events

Paid Sick Leave (Colorado)

Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Urban Egg provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Team members earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.

Requirements

  • Minimum of (2) years of culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge, skill and coordination with using kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Ability to follow recipes and replicate food production procedures.
  • Ensure kitchen team members adhere to set standards, procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  • Ability to manage kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality.
  • Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper labeling and storage afterward.
  • Daytime, weekend and occasional evening availability.
