What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our facilities by:

  • Cleaning gallery, office, warehouse, and common areas 
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing workspaces 
  • Cleaning and stocking restrooms, kitchens, and break areas 
  • Emptying trash and recycling throughout Company facilities 
  • Polishing display silver and caring for delicate items 
  • Monitoring and restocking cleaning and facility supplies 
  • Promptly addressing spills and other housekeeping needs 
  • Safely using cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals 
  • Running occasional local errands and assisting with additional facilities-related tasks 
  • Supporting gallery events with occasional evening work

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment 
  • Dependable work ethic with excellent attendance 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with coworkers 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Professional attitude and positive customer service mindset 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

What to Expect

This is an active, hands-on position requiring employees to spend most of the workday on their feet while moving throughout the gallery, offices, warehouse, and other Company facilities. Qualified candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
  • Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools
  • Work around dust, cleaning chemicals, and other common housekeeping conditions
  • Occasionally work outdoors while traveling between Company locations or running local errands

Compensation and Work Schedule

  • Compensation will be comprised of a very competitive salary commensurate with experience, with eligibility to earn quarterly and annual bonuses.
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Facilities department hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees work alternating five-day and six-day schedules, including rotating Saturdays. Occasional evening, holiday, and overtime work may be required.
