Chief Engineer


The Hyatt Place Park City is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team and oversee the technical operations of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring efficient project execution and technical quality.

- Develop and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices to optimize operational performance.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of engineering systems and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget.

- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.

- Manage budgets, resources, and procurement related to engineering projects.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field; a master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, with a track record of successful project management.

- Strong technical knowledge across relevant engineering disciplines.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

- Proficiency with engineering software and tools.

- Knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations applicable to the industry.

- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and lead teams effectively.
