Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesLead/support actuarial aspects of merger integration (data, models, assumptions, reporting alignment)Drive AI and automation initiatives to modernize actuarial workflowsOversee actuarial data (50–60%) and model frameworks (30%) across legacy systemsEnsure continuity of U.S. statutory valuation and regulatory deliverablesPartner with U.S. actuarial, IT, and data teams on integration and transformationManage timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications for merger workstreams (10–20% PM focus)Required Experience & Skills15+ years actuarial experience in Life & Annuity insurancePrior merger / integration experience (at least 1 merger or ~2 years involvement)Strong expertise in:Actuarial data management and governance (primary focus)Life actuarial models (AXIS / Prophet or similar)Project management experience in complex, cross-functional initiativesProficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or PythonPreferred QualificationsExperience in U.S. actuarial environment (highly preferred)Exposure to statutory valuation (PBR, VM-31, AG53/AG55)Experience in model conversions, system integration, or transformation initiativesAI & Transformation FocusStrong interest or experience in:Generative AI / Copilot toolsAutomation of actuarial processesAbility to:Identify and implement AI-driven efficienciesTranslate manual workflows into scalable, digital solutionsActuarial CredentialsNot mandatoryASA/FSA progress is a tie-breaker in competitive situationsWhat Success Looks LikeSeamless actuarial integration with no disruption to reportingMeasurable improvements in:Efficiency and cycle timeData quality and transparencySuccessful adoption of AI-enabled actuarial processesWhy This RoleHigh-impact role in a large-scale merger initiativeOpportunity to shape the future AI-enabled actuarial functionDirect collaboration with U.S. leadership and strategic programs
