About the Role

Job Summary:**

Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of live chicks from PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's hatcheries to various farms, ensuring optimal chick welfare during transit.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Operate and maintain specialized chick transport vehicles (vans) according to company standards and road regulations.
* Load and unload chick boxes with care, ensuring proper ventilation and temperature control within the vehicle.
* Monitor chick health and welfare during transportation, responding promptly to any issues or concerns.
* Adhere to strict biosecurity protocols at all times, including vehicle sanitation and personal hygiene.
* Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery manifests, vehicle logs, and incident reports.
* Communicate effectively with hatchery staff, farm personnel, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and potential issues.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
* Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:**

* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably with livestock or temperature-sensitive goods.
* Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Ability to lift and move heavy chick boxes (up to X kg/lbs - *insert specific weight if known*).
* Strong understanding of biosecurity principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by delivery schedules.
