About the role

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Operational Workforce Planning to be part of our Operational Workforce Planning team, People & Capability Command. The Manager, Operational Workforce Planning is to lead NSWPF operational workforce planning capability by aligning workforce supply with demand, combining data-driven analysis with command partnership and feedback to achieve optimised workforce allocation and best practice.

Target Question 1:

Please describe a time when a senior stakeholder disagreed with your resourcing recommendations for their business unit. What stakeholder management techniques did you use in the situation, and what was the outcome?

 

Target Question 2:

Please describe a time you analysed complex datasets to develop a high stakes workforce planning recommendation. What specific technical tools did you use, and what analytical concepts did you apply to account for uncertainty in the data? How did you translate these technical findings into recommendations for non-technical decision makers?
