About the Role:
The Clinical Development Nurse, Graduate Nurse Program, plays an integral role in supporting the successful transition of nurses from student to graduate practice across North Canberra Hospital and Clare Holland House locations. The CDN will partner with clinical teams to provide clinical supervision, graduate support, program implementation and contribute to the delivery of mandatory training and education initiatives across the organisation, supporting workforce capability and ongoing professional development.
Working within the Clinical Education Team, the Nurse Graduate Program Clinical Development Nurse provides education, guidance, and support to graduate nurses participating in the Graduate Nurse Program (GNP). This includes clinical supervision, graduate support, facilitation of education sessions, coordination of study days, and implementation of program initiatives.
