You and your job

As Area Lead Talent, Grow & Leadership, you are responsible for delivering and continuously enhancing Rabobank’s people offering, with a clear focus on GROW, future-ready talent and leadership, and technology-, data- and AI-enabled journeys. In this role, you translate strategic priorities into a forward-looking area strategy and product roadmap, helping Rabobank build a future-ready leaders and talent pipeline.

You act as the figurehead for leadership and talent development and lead a powerful, integrated portfolio of global programs and initiatives, including the Top 100 leadership program, the Rabo Talent Accelerator (RTA), and our key leadership tracks—YALT, YELT and the Core Leadership Track.

Together, these high-impact experiences and talent journeys, rooted in our vision of Balanced Leadership, enable us to build a strong, future-ready leadership bench and talent pipeline. They empower leaders and high-potential talent at every level to drive performance, inspire their teams, and bring our strategy to life with confidence and impact.

You combine deep expertise in people development with a sharp understanding of technology, product thinking and data-driven decision-making. You are energized by how AI and digital innovation are reshaping the world of work — and you turn that vision into impactful, future-ready solutions for employees, leaders and the organization.

• Shape and deliver a forward-looking, future-ready talent leadership and grow strategy, translating business priorities into scalable products, processes, and journeys.

• Drive innovation in talent and leadership development by embedding data, technology and AI into learning and development solutions.

• Simplify and enhance processes and offerings to maximize impact, user experience, and adoption across the bank, while ensuring the seamless execution of the global performance management process (GROW).

• Lead and evolve GROW, Rabobank’s global performance and development approach, enabling meaningful dialogue and continuous growth.

• Drive talent, succession and leadership development, ensuring strong pipelines and future-ready leadership capabilities.

• Build and optimize tech- and data-enabled development products, improving processes and coordinating delivery across squads and stakeholders.

The team consists of 24 professionals responsible for shaping and delivering strategic leadership and talent programmes, including the global GROW journey, enabling employees, managers and talent to continuously grow in a fast-changing world..

You and your talent

• Academic level of thinking and working

• Proven track record in senior leadership roles, a proven ability to set direction, make choices, and prioritize effectively.

• Strong experience in talent development, leadership development and performance management

• A clear vision on the future of work, and the impact of AI, data and technology on talent and leadership, combined with experience in agile ways of working

• Experience with process improvement and product development, ideally in digital or platform-driven environments

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior levels

• Business savviness and the ability to translate strategic and organizational needs into practical, scalable solutions

• A strong drive to simplify, create focus and deliver scalable impact

• Excellent command of the English language
