As our Night Shift Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a key part in delivering the projects and essential night works that help keep roads safer, communities connected, and critical infrastructure running when it matters most. You’ll lead from the front, coordinate people and plant, and help make sure good work gets done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support night shift delivery across supply chain and roading operations. You’ll work closely with the crew, provide practical onsite leadership, and help maintain strong safety, quality, and performance standards.
This role works 6pm to 4am, Sunday to Thursday, with weekend work required on some occasions.

Supervision of a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and public on all our sites.
Assistance in Co-ordination of resources to safely and efficiently complete planned work.
Supervise operations in a profitable and efficient manner ensuring the highest quality standards.
Provide onsite leadership & decision making where applicable.
Effective service delivery and interaction with customers and employees.
Ability to operate plant and get involved in the practical operations regularly.
Work alongside roading crews assisting with operations.
You’ll also contribute to any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested.

Minimum class 2 licence, including WTR endorsements.
Have a hands-on approach in operations.
Proven experience in leading/Supervision.
Experience in a moving plant environment.
Ability to communicate clear expectations to the team.
Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation.
A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve is a must.
Ability to work flexible night shift hours.
An unwavering commitment towards safety with a safety record to match.
