The Opportunity:
Rio Grande is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer I / II to join our Brand & Creative team. As a marketing content creator, this role is responsible for producing compelling visual content that educates, inspires, and engages customers across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Working as part of an in-house creative team, the Videographer partners with Integrated Marketing, Brand & Creative, Growth & Demand, Merchandising, and other linked teams to create content that supports integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, ecommerce, social media, educational resources, and internal communications.
The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, understands how content supports business objectives, and can manage projects from concept through final delivery while maintaining Rio Grande's brand standards.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a marketing content creator by producing engaging visual content that supports Rio Grande's integrated marketing strategy.
- Plan, produce, film, edit, and deliver high-quality video content from concept through final production.
- Create content for integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, ecommerce, educational resources, social media, paid advertising, events, and internal communications.
- Produce both long-form educational videos and short-form content optimized for social media platforms.
- Capture product demonstrations, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, event coverage, and brand storytelling content.
- Create motion graphics, titles, animations, captions, and other visual enhancements.
- Capture photography as needed to support marketing campaigns and content initiatives.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, Integrated Marketing Specialists, Product Management, and Growth & Demand to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives and brand standards.
- Participate in pre-production planning, including creative concepts, storyboards, production schedules, shot lists, and logistics.
- Operate professional camera, lighting, audio, and production equipment in studio and on location.
- Edit and optimize content for websites, ecommerce, YouTube, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and internal communications.
- Organize, archive, and maintain video, photography, and digital media assets.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality, organization, and attention to detail.
- Stay current on video production techniques, editing software, AI-assisted creative tools, and digital content trends.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional portfolio or demo reel demonstrating commercial or marketing video production.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics software.
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, audio recording, editing, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating content for digital marketing channels.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional marketing team.
Videographer I
Candidates considered for the Level I role typically demonstrate:
- 1–3 years of professional video production experience.
- Experience producing and editing commercial or marketing videos.
- Understanding of professional production workflows and equipment.
- Ability to create engaging content while working under general direction.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve.
Videographer II
In addition to the qualifications above, candidates considered for the Level II role typically demonstrate:
- 3–5 years of professional commercial video production experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead productions from concept through post-production.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, color correction, and motion graphics.
- Experience producing content for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Ability to develop creative concepts, storyboards, production schedules, and visual storytelling strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent productions while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Experience mentoring others or leading creative projects is preferred.
