Do you enjoy hands-on work and taking pride in the finished product?

At ECS Composites, our Trim & Sand team plays an important role in preparing fiberglass composite parts for the next stage of production. If you like working with your hands, paying attention to the details, and seeing a rough part transformed into a finished product, this could be the perfect fit.

Our schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving you a three-day weekend! Friday overtime may be required during peak production periods.

Requirements

What You'll Be Doing

• Trim excess fiberglass from molded parts using hand and power tools 
• Sand composite parts to meet quality and finish specifications 
• Inspect parts for defects and identify areas requiring additional work 
• Read work orders and follow production instructions 
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions when required 
• Prepare parts for the next stage of manufacturing 
• Maintain clean work areas and properly care for tools and equipment 
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE 
• Work closely with teammates to meet production goals 
• Assist with other production duties as needed 

What We're Looking For

• Enjoy hands-on, physical work 
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship 
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
• Dependable with a strong work ethic 
• Team player who enjoys working toward common goals 
• Commitment to producing high-quality work 
• Manufacturing, sanding, finishing, or fiberglass experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person

 Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of your shift 
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly 
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the day 
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements 
• Work around fiberglass dust, manufacturing equipment, and power tools 
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when necessary 
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment 
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
