Northwest Journey: NWJ provides a community-based treatment option by offering comprehensive intervention and preventative services aimed at preventing out of home placements and creating family stability and individual success. In addition, Northwest Journey provides therapeutic support services for children, adolescents, and families transitioning back to the community from out-of-home placements. Northwest Connections: NWC provides Emergency Mental Health Services to contracted counties in WI. This program is a collaborative effort between those county partners, service providers and law enforcement. NWC’s goal is to provide the least restrictive response to all crisis situations. Northwest Directions: Northwest Directions has the aim of providing outpatient outreach services within the school setting is to engage children and families who are in need of professional help to overcome mild to moderate mental health symptoms. We focus on helping the child overcome/ manage these symptoms by working individually with the child but also by working with the child’s family system which allows the parents and the child to: - Direct the course of treatment delivery. - Create reasonable goals for the child and family to achieve sustainable results. - Foster greater stability and well-being for the family and the child. - Allow children and their families to be served in a location that is deemed therapeutically beneficial for the child and family, to support and achieve their desired outcomes. Daily Living Skills: Northwest Counseling and Guidance Clinic (NWCGC) in a collaborative effort with a county Department of Human Services (DHS) provides Daily Living Skills and Mentoring services for children and families that reside within the respective county.
About the Role

Description

The Transportation Services Coordinator (TSC) is responsible for service coordination including scheduling rides for members, business office related tasks, and other duties to aide in the successful coordination of transportation services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:  

  • Schedule trips for riders as assigned by state transportation broker.  
  • Assist in business office related tasks as assigned.  
  • Answer phone calls and enter information into scheduling system.  
  • Update driver/vehicle profiles or any other information needed into scheduling system.  
  • Schedule trips as needed for members.  
  • Communicate with transportation manager (TM) regarding all issues within the transportation system.  
  • Communicate and collaborate with Transportation Manager about routes, driver hours, and overall efficiency of the region.  
  • Other duties as assigned by the TM.

Requirements

Qualifications -- Education and/or Experience/ Other Skills and Abilities:  

  • Possess strong communication (oral and written) and ongoing problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.    
  • Ability to work on the company’s computer system.  
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback.  
  • Ability to be proactive and self directed.  
  • Ability to represent Northwest within the expectations of the agencies customer relations practices. 

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Work in office areas and throughout the facility.  
  • Ability to work on the company computer.  
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.  
  • Ability to answer phones.  
  • Ability to complete all aspects of filing.
