Job Description

We’re looking for a Project Manager who enjoys delivering change—from quick-turn initiatives to larger projects—with experience across regulatory and/or generalist projects.

You’ll join the UK&I Programme Team and play a hands-on role in delivering regulatory change (and wider business projects) across the UK&I division—working closely with the Head of Projects & Regulatory and the Senior Project Manager.

You’ll lead projects end to end—from kick-off and planning through to delivery and project closure—using our agreed project framework. You’ll work with department heads, key stakeholders and the Programme Management Office (PMO) to keep plans on track, remove blockers, support decision-making, and deliver outcomes with confidence.

Your projects will vary in size and complexity, with most sitting within our Regulatory Change Programme (as set out in the UK&I Portfolio Plan).

You’ll land change by partnering with Commercial Operations to create clear, timely updates and engagement for the teams impacted.

Project Management

  • Agree what success looks like for each project (scope, outcomes and priorities), aligned to business strategy
  • Work with business owners to shape strong business cases (risks, benefits, costs and timelines) and support approvals/funding where needed
  • Put the right governance in place and escalate risks, issues, scope changes or delays through agreed channels
  • Build delivery plans that align to the UK&I Portfolio Plan and fit around any work already in flight
  • Set clear measures so you can track progress, performance and benefits throughout delivery
  • Keep stakeholders informed with clear updates from planning through delivery and implementation
  • Deliver the agreed outcomes, keeping scope, timelines and priorities under control
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver on time and within budget, building strong relationships along the way
  • Partner with Procurement to source cost-effective, competitive solutions when needed
  • Make sure outcomes are handed over smoothly into BAU and complete post-project reviews against agreed KPIs

Other Responsibilities

  • Help create a positive, inclusive team environment where people feel supported to do their best work
  • Work closely with the PMO to keep projects and communications aligned to wider business plans
  • Partner with Product & Technology teams to support smooth and timely delivery of change
  • Build strong working relationships across Gibraltar, Commercial Operations, and the Programme & Communications teams to support planning and implementation

Essential skills

  • A strong foundation in project management (and ideally business analysis), with an understanding of related disciplines
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Clear communicator—comfortable adapting your style for different audiences (verbal and written)
  • Able to bring people with you—motivating and guiding others to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable managing several projects at the same time and balancing competing priorities
  • Organised and methodical, with a disciplined approach to delivery
  • Strong relationship-builder who can work effectively across teams

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus—however, relevant experience and a solid understanding of project delivery are just as important.
  • You’re comfortable using MS Office, and experience with planning tools such as Monday.com or Asana would be great.
  • You’re detail-oriented, plan well, and can communicate and negotiate confidently.
  • You have experience managing budgets and you enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
