We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:



Applications are invited for the Course Developer post for the higher-level undergraduate course ECON3007AED Global Political Economy.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

 

  • Developing a study guide incorporating local cases and scenarios to support students in their engagement with the selected textbook for the undergraduate course Global Political Economy (ECON3007AED);

  • Developing self-tests and activities to consolidate students’ learning and application of theoretical concepts;

  • Preparing assessments and examinations to evaluate students’ progress and performance; and

  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

 

 

Candidates

Candidates are expected to possess the following:

 

  • A higher degree in political science or related social science disciplines;

  • Good knowledge of current issues in the global political economy;

  • Good knowledge of the local context;

  • Strong English writing proficiency;

  • Strong organisational and communication skills; and

  • Teaching experience in tertiary education institutions (preferred).

 

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a freelance basis.
