Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with relevant personnel, analyze all approved purchase requisition forms, obtain quotations from suppliers, negotiate best terms for local/foreign purchases/procurement of services raise purchase orders and obtain approvals to ensure order fulfilment of requirements in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Verify the accuracy of purchase orders against the goods received notes, confirm conformity of goods received and follow- up on payments to suppliers in order to ensure timely settlement of dues to suppliers.
Ensure all purchases are done in line with the organizational purchasing procedures from the point of receiving the purchase requisition and facilitate timely receipt of goods as per specifications in line with organizational requirements.
Follow-up on orders, maintain detailed documentation, explore new deals with alternative vendors, review all contracts with external parties and re-negotiate terms and conditions to have better deals for the organization.
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business Management.
3-5 Years of Industry experience.
Supplier development.
Strategic sourcing.
ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Vendor relationship management.
Data analysis and reporting.
Cross-functional collaboration.
Contract negotiation.
Inventory and demand planning.
