About the Role

Description

In this role, you will focus on leading and developing our facility-level nurses and managers. This includes hands-on assessing, coaching, and training, quality assurance and improvement, supervisory and management skill development, meeting clinical outcome expectations, and regulatory compliance. Extensive travel within the states of Illinois and Missouri is required in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

  • If needed will temporarily fill the Director of Nursing vacancies in our facilities.
  • Develop our nursing teams in post-acute services.
  • Passionate dedication to customer service; excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service and employee well-being.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

Valid Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse license required. 

BSN or greater level of educational achievement

A minimum of five (5) years of healthcare management experience, with the highest preference going to applicants with a background in long-term care, acute care, post-acute care, transitional care, therapy and rehabilitation, or a similar field is required.

1-3 years of multi-site nurse management experience is highly preferred.

Ability to accept interim assignments at our locations

Thorough understanding of financial, quality assurance, and management processes
