Procurement Analyst

Job Summary

At Celestar, a B&A Company, is looking for a Procurement Analyst in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting SOUTHCOM. 

Responsibilities

  •  Proposed personnel possess the knowledge and capability to track expenditures, manage procurement cycles, and ensure contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies.
  • Personnel must be proficient in data analysis, cost forecasting, and procurement workflow optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills are required.

Education and Experience

  •  A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field -OR- A minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience in contract administration. 

Required Skills

  • Must have demonstrated experience in the DFARS and FAR processes for procurement, managing purchase orders, tracking procurement performance metrics, and ensuring budget alignment with operational requirements.
  • Personnel must have experience with acquisition software, federal procurement databases, and financial tracking tools to support compliance with DoD acquisition regulations.
  • Experience in cost estimation, contract analysis, and procurement audits is required.

Desired Certifications

  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
  • DoD Financial Management Certification
