About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented, process-driven professionals with hands-on experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare organizations. This is not a clinical role — it is an operational and administrative support position for someone who has worked in a BPO or remote environment handling healthcare workflows such as medical scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient coordination, medical billing, or healthcare customer service.

If you have supported U.S. healthcare clients from a BPO setting and understand how U.S. insurance plans, providers, and healthcare workflows operate — this role was built for your background.

Key Responsibilities
    • Handle appointment scheduling, patient coordination, and calendar management for healthcare providers.
    • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage through U.S. payer portals.
    • Initiate and follow up on prior authorization requests with insurance companies.
    • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, insurance companies, and internal teams via phone, email, or chat.
    • Accurately document, update, and maintain patient and healthcare records in accordance with established procedures.
    • Support medical billing, claims processing, or referral coordination as needed by the client.
    • Monitor assigned work queues, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
    • Handle sensitive patient information in full compliance with HIPAA and client-specific privacy protocols.
    • Identify process gaps and contribute to operational efficiency and service improvement.
    • Perform other healthcare administrative and support functions based on client needs.
  • You're a Match If You Have
    • Handled insurance verification, prior authorizations, or patient scheduling for U.S.-based healthcare clients in a BPO.
    • Worked with EHR platforms such as Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
    • Processed medical billing or claims for U.S. payers and understand insurance terminology.
    • Operated under HIPAA compliance requirements and strict documentation standards.
    • Been measured on volume-based metrics in a healthcare or insurance support role.

  • Strong spoken and written English — C1 level required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the U.S. healthcare industry (providers, insurance, care coordination, billing, or similar) — required and must be documented on your resume.
  • Working familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system, providers, and insurance plans.
  • Your last 3 positions should reflect an average tenure of at least 1 year per role; this will be verified during the screening process.
  • Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workspace) and comfort with CRMs and multiple web-based tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Effective time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across a queue.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Immediate payroll enrollment from Day 1 — fully registered under Peruvian labor law (Régimen General).
  • 100% statutory benefits — CTS, gratificaciones, vacaciones, and AFP/ONP contributions per Peruvian regulations.
  • Private health insurance — Rímac EPS coverage from the start.
  • Long-term career placement with a single dedicated U.S. client.
  • Fixed U.S. business hours — no rotating shifts.
  • Exposure to U.S. business standards, tools, and professional culture.
  • Career growth opportunities — many of our Associates grow with the same client for years.
