About the Role

SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company, is Australia's leading independent industrial automation and control systems integrator and a recognised leader in the design, delivery and support of industrial and electrical control solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the market leader and work on some of the largest engineering projects across Tasmania.

In this role:

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will have proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects. You will be accountable for supporting and delivering assigned projects, ensuring the project's objectives are achieved, completed on time and within budget. Using your skills and technical knowledge, you will support and manage a variety of projects, prioritising resources across your portfolio. You will develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and engagement to provide timely updates and promptly resolve project issues.

You will meet the milestones and time constraints of the projects, maintaining an up-to-date schedule with milestones, work breakdown structure and tasks, raising cost variations for approval by the customer.

About you:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management or similar.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within automation/electrical engineering.

  • You will have demonstrable knowledge of good project management methodologies.

  • You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management or Project Management Institute is desirable.

  • You must have current unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
