Job Summary:
The Purchasing Administrator is a supporting role on the purchasing team to negotiate, procure materials and supplies to feed the operational needs while monitoring and maintaining inventory.
Job Description:
- Purchase materials and supplies from approved vendors.
- Research and approve PO requisitions in Monarch and convert to purchase orders.
- Maintain a consistent supply level of materials for use within departments at all times.
- Work with estimating in the selection of vendors and pricing for quotes.
- Analyze and set material minimums in Monarch and Kanban’s.
- Maintain Kanban’s
- Create and maintain P/N’s and costing information in Monarch.
- Responsible for quarterly inventory cycle counts and annual inventory.
- Manage other purchasing functions such as FAMA and other reporting as needed.
- Handle vendor returns for overstock, defective and damaged materials.
- Maintain open order report and work with PMs to keep current.
- Approve and reconcile PO’s and misc. spends with Finance.
- Source and research materials as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with receiving.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate
$24 - $29/Hr
Pay Statement
The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications of Position:
- Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications of Position:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Litho/Digital Print industry experience a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
