 We're looking for a skilled laser operator who enjoys taking ownership of their work, solving problems, and producing high-quality parts. Requirements

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience operating and programming CNC 2D laser cutting equipment 
  • Experience with Prima Power equipment or similar laser systems preferred 
  • Experience with nesting software and DXF file programming 
  • Strong blueprint reading and print interpretation skills 
  • Knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing tolerances 
  • Experience in a precision metal fabrication or manufacturing environment 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
  • Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment 
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified 
  • Experience using ERP or manufacturing software 
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift 
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Pull and position steel sheets 
  • Remove finished parts from sheet skeletons 
  • Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift
