Finance Interns x 3 Positions

<p style="margin-right:23.3pt;"><strong>Purpose of the Job:</strong></p><p style="margin-right:23.3pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="margin-right:23.3pt;text-align:justify;">Reporting to the Accountants for Cell Insurance, Cellmed and Nectacare, the main purpose of the Interns is to assist the finance team.</p><p style="margin-right:23.3pt;text-align:justify;"><br></p><div><strong>Assisting with the following duties and responsibilities:</strong></div><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Processing payments of service providers and member claims.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Attending to providers’ and members’ queries.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Reconciling provider and member prefunds.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Receipting and allocating premium subscriptions.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Reconciling bank statements and commissions.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Reconciling creditors and debtors.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Administering petty cash.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Preparing weekly projections.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Attending to both clients' and providers' queries.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;"><br></p><div><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li>Studying towards an Accounting degree or equivalent and should have passed the second year with good grades.</li></ul><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt; ">At least 2 ‘A’ Level passes.</p><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-18.0pt; ">5 ‘O’ level passes</p><div><br></div><div><strong>The Ideal Candidate Must:</strong></div><div><br></div><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have integrity.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Be good with figures.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have analytical skills.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Be good at problem-solving.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Have very good communication skills.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;">Be a good team player.</p><p style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:71.3pt;margin-bottom:0cm; margin-left:36.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;"><br></p>
