Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct, efficient, and quality health care services to patients-including evaluation for additional services and follow up care.
  • Provides evidence-based care with consideration of nationally recognized and STRIDE internal clinical guidelines.
  • Offers clinical consultation and arranges referrals to internal/external providers and clinical staff.
  • Provides supervision to advanced practice providers.
  • Manages in basket messaging: labs, imaging results, medication refills, patient/staff communication.
  • Participates in clinical group meetings to evaluate patient care efficiency and quality improvement efforts.
  • Completes entry of patient health data/charges into the electronic medical records system (EMR) database in a timely manner.
  • Responds to emails and other organizational communication messaging in a timely manner.
  • Provides clinical mentorship and supervisor of Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant colleagues assigned.
  • Completes required competency courses in Paylocity.
  • Meets with Medical Director individually as needed for logistical issues or concerns.
  • Attends all staff meetings and all other meetings as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

Previous experience working as a primary care provider in a clinical setting is preferred

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited educational institution or school.
  • Medical residency training from accredited educational institution or school.
  • Board certification in primary care specialty and on-going completion of required trainings.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Demonstrates knowledge in the appropriate primary care specialty.
  • Demonstrates the ability to function in a clinical setting
  • Possesses the capability to effectively and sensitively respond to the needs and concerns of STRIDE’s high acuity patient population.
  • Collaborates with other providers and clinical staff to develop continual quality improvement procedures and provide quality patient-centered care.
  • Manages sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
  • Possesses knowledge of the electronic medical records (EMR) system. STRIDE uses Epic.

Tools you’ll use:

Computer (personal laptop supplied by STRIDE), printer, copy/scanner, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and the internet.


Working Environment and Physical Activities:

Office environment within a clinical setting. Enters data into computer programs via computer, mouse and keyboard. Moves/transports objects up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making.

We offer a salary range of $203,788 - $233,216, depending on your experience. 

This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.


 Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available!
