This role balances technical depth with leadership excellence, fostering a high-performance engineering culture while ensuring timely and successful execution of engineering projects.</p><div align="center" style="text-align:center;line-height:normal;"><hr align="center"></div><p style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"><li style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Leadership & Strategy</strong><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Define and drive the engineering roadmap in alignment with company goals.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development to engineering managers and engineers.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Collaborate with executive leadership, product, and operations to define priorities and scope.</li></ul></li><li style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Execution & Delivery</strong><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and systems.</li></ul></li><li style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Team Building & Talent Development</strong><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Build and retain a world-class engineering team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Promote a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Conduct regular performance evaluations and set growth objectives.</li></ul></li><li style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Partner closely with cross-functional teams of Tech leads, Product, Manufacturing and other teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Represent engineering team in strategic planning, business reviews, and customer engagements as needed.</li></ul></li><li style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Technology Oversight</strong><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Stay current with technology trends and evaluate their applicability to business needs.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Make architectural decisions and oversee implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Champion the use of modern technologies and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps).</li></ul></li></ul><div align="center" style="text-align:center;line-height:normal;"><hr align="center"></div><p style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"><li style="line-height:normal;">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">10+ years of engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Proven experience leading distributed, high-performing engineering teams.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Strong understanding of systems architecture, software engineering, and development operations.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling environment (e.g., startups, tech-focused enterprises).</li></ul><div align="center" style="text-align:center;line-height:normal;"><hr align="center"></div><p style="line-height:normal;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"><li style="line-height:normal;">Experience with multiple engineering domains (FPGA, Embedded firmware, Software& applications, Electrical, Mechanical)</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Background in deep tech industry (FPGA, Quantum, Silicon Photonics).</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Familiarity with budget management and vendor negotiations.</li></ul>
